Silhouette of one of the towers of Ras al Hadd Castle at sunset. The 450 year old castle stands looking out to sea. It has 3 towers and a courtyard large enough to take all of the villagers when they were threatened with invasion. An escape tunnel travels 200m outside the fort into what was then a dwelling.
