Italien, Sizilien, Segesta. Segesta ist eine verlassene antike Stadt in der Provinz von Trapani, ca. 74 km südwestlich von Palermo. Segesta war einer der wenigen sizilianischen Städte der Elymer, einer der sogenannten indigenen Sizilien gegründet. Es wird vermutet, dass der Tempel zwischen 420 und 430 v. Chr. gebaut wurde.
