One Tab to Rule Them All

Our new all-in-one search tab allows you to find the right image faster!

All of your searches will now show both RF and RM by default. Want just RM or just RF? Simply choose your preferred license type before you click "Search" or hit the appropriate tab in your search results. What's better, we'll even remember your preference for next time.

And with our fancy tallies and totals on and above the tabs, you can see how many images there are before you click. The tally is the number of images in each license type for a given search. For example, for this search for people, there are 141543 for Rights-Managed and 919398 for Royalty-Free, with 1,060,941 images in total. The total is a combination of all the results in both license types.

Search and Sort

Our search features are designed to save you time and make your job easier. By using different ways to find and view your results, you get the greatest flexibility and variety. What you need, when you need it.

Before you search by keyword or image code, you can choose your sort preference. Editor's Choice is our default sort:

What our experts find special. Get the best and brightest images in our collection without the digging. Sort by "Editor's Choice" to see a variety of expressive, relevant images, with few similars.

Find what others find interesting. For years designers have been finding great images on Masterfile.com Now you can sort your search results by what others think is sweet. Sweet!

Find the freshest stuff fast. Sort by "Date Added" to have our newest images float to the top. Images from the same shoot will appear together.

Find More Like This

In our basic search results, we focus on presenting a great mix of the newest and best images, so you won't see a lot of similars. Want similars? Simsearch can help! SimSearch looks for similar images via keywords (content) and visual similarities (tonality, shape, etc.)
