Tim Mantoani is known for his dramatic portraits and has a showcase of his athlete and sports photography published in his own book, Mindgames, Explorations Into The Mental Area of Sport. In addition, Mantoani has written two technical books on photographic lighting and had a bimonthly column, Purelight, in Petersen’s Photographic Magazine for over 10 years.
