Our featured artist for this month is Toronto-based photographer Andrew Kolb. Born in England, Andrew focusses on portrait photography and painting. In many ways, Andrew veers from the "traditional" portrait; his work is very emotive, sometimes hand coloured, representing genuine interactions between people. His influences include the paintings of Albrecht Dürer, David Hockney and Andy Warhol as well as the photography of Tony Ray-Jones, Josef Koudelka and August Sander. |
We've carefully selected images from our latest rights-managed and royalty-free submissions to create a gallery of freshness. We focus on presenting a great mix of the newest and best images, so you won't see a lot of similars. Want similars? Find more like this and see how Simsearch can automagically help you. |
She's trapped in a waking dream. It's frightening yet exhilarating. She is tempted to give into this fever, to let it take her over completely, but she is unsure. The longer she stays, the more the temptation cannot be denied. She lets go, awash in feeling. |
