Lightboxes are a great way to organize your picture searches. You can create an unlimited number of lightboxes, and you can have up to four of them active while you search. A default lightbox is always active, so you don’t even have to create one.
You can have a maximum of four active lightboxes. The first four lightboxes you create will automatically be designated as active. Once you create five or more lightboxes, the system will ask you to select only four to be active. To activate a lightbox, click on the checkbox in the Set Active Lightboxes column on the My Lightboxes page. You can deactivate any lightbox by clicking on the same checkbox to deselect it. Up to four Lightbox icons will appear under all search result thumbnails or enlargements, depending on how many active lightboxes you have. The titles of these lightboxes are displayed when you roll over the icons.
To add a picture to a lightbox, click on the appropriate Lightbox icon under any image thumbnail or enlargement. This will cause the icon to turn red. You can add any given picture to one, some, or all of your active lightboxes.
Click on any red Lightbox icon to remove an image from that lightbox. The icon reverts to black.
Click on the Delete a Lightbox icon (the X). Choose which lightbox to delete by selecting its name from the roll down menu.
Click on the Email Lightbox to a Friend icon (the envelope). From the roll down menu, choose the lightbox to send and enter the recipient’s e-mail address. You can also choose whether the e-mail will be seen as coming from either you personally (account holder) or from the webmaster. You can choose to permit the recipient to make changes to the lightbox, and there’s also a spot to write a message.
Click on the Rename a Lightbox icon (the piece of paper), choose the lightbox you wish to rename, and enter a new title in the text field.
Click on the Add Comments to Lightbox icon (the talk balloon), choose the lightbox you wish to comment on, and enter your comments in the text field.
Any Current Lightbox page has left and right Manual Browse buttons and a Stop button.
